Changes to ‘Reporter’: Delivered twice a week beginning Sept. 6

Submitted by on August 20, 2012 – 9:20 amNo Comment

UM-Dearborn logoBeginning September 6, readers will notice a new, more frequent Reporter in their inboxes. The twice-weekly e-newsletter will provide a timely look at news and events from across campus.

Highlights of the user-friendly format include:

  • Two to four articles per issue, such as breaking news, announcements, and faculty and staff accomplishments
  • Photo and video features
  • Event listings
  • Faculty and staff resources

“We’ve continued to evaluate the best ways to share news across campus since launching Reporter online in 2010,” said Ken Kettenbeil, executive director of communications and marketing.  “Using feedback from faculty and staff members, we believe the new Reporter will provide the same quality information in a format that’s quick and easy to read.”

Links within the e-newsletter will lead to the university’s updated news site. The site, which also launches September 6, will combine elements of the current Reporter website and university news page.

“Our hope is that merging the best of our current resources will create a robust, dynamic news presence for anyone interested in learning more about University of Michigan-Dearborn,” Kettenbeil said.
