Great job Susan and Dick!
I have seen the book and it clear why teachers want to read and use it.
It raises intriguing questions about how things work in our everyday lives and helps students learn science and engineering, as well as good habits of mind, as they follow your guided explorations.

Dear Editor, I would appreciate it if you would publish a correction in your next newsletter. The Penguin mural is copper enameling ( finely ground glass fused onto copper) and not stained glass. Because it has been assembled in a stained glass manner for soecial effects it may look like it. Thank you for making this correction. Vera R. Sattler , artist.
